TED: SOCIAL SOUL

Social Soul is an immersive technology-driven installation that connects participants and sparks real life interactions. The project was commissioned by Delta Air Lines for TED Vancouver.

Logging in with their Twitter handle, attendees stepped inside a structure that virtually transported them into their social media stream. The floor, walls and ceiling of the installation filled with images, words and audio feedback from their social footprint. We then employed a custom algorithm to match participants with their “social soulmate” – the TED attendee with the most similarities in their Twitter content. Attendees were then connected via a direct message from @Delta that encouraged the two to connect IRL.

As Executive Producer, I worked with experiential agency MKG to produce the project from ideation to onsite execution.
